In response to these issues HYP Hop has been established by experienced health professionals in order to provide health education programmes for young people and training seminars and workshops for those delivering health education programmes to young people.
HYP Hop has evolved from extensive outreach work with young people including needs assessment and research to inform the development and provision of sexual health and relationships education programmes for young people, parents and carers and those working with young people. The HYP Hop Workshop Manual and DVD 'The Letter' has been developed with significant input from young people and demonstrates how health professionals, educationalists and young people can work creatively together and make positive use of their unique skills and expertise.
